Because 2 of jan the restaurant was closed we were advised to visit
Bistro de Casino, 5 minutes by car.
In the dark not easy to drive, but on the parking in front of the casino building what way to go ?
Finally the someone came to show us the way along three times deep down stares in the dark !
You better never advise this place in winter and rain. We found it very dangerous.
The staf did not tell us te have a front door key coming back, so we had to nock on a window.
Furthermore, lovely hotel.

Staff friendliness and the restaurant.

The gym was not available at the time of our visit. Also, while having cold weather, the pool cannot be available (except some indoor stairs with some water inside).

Lovely place. Spa and pool facilities were lovely.

Unfortunately we stayed on a Monday and the restaurant was closed.

"I have stayed many times at this excellent boutique hotel which is difficult to fault.

Very comfortable and beautifully appoint bedroom. Superb dinner with first class service in a lovely dining room. Breakfast was also very nice and in another delightful room.

– Le logement était GLACIALE.
Les murs et les sols étaient tellement froids qu'il était impossible d'avoir chaud, même avec les radiateurs allumés à fond. Une soirée, une nuit, et un réveil compliqués en ayant froid en permanence. Peut-être faut-il laisser une consigne minimum de chauffage pour maintenir l'appartement à une température convenable en hiver. Pour les prochaines personnes qui y séjournent, pensez à emmener des claquettes pour ne pas avoir froid aux pieds.

– Le jaccuzi était sale.
Un seul remplissage d'eau chaude était possible, ce qui est compréhensible. Cependant, lorsque nous avons mis les buses d'air en marche, beaucoup de saletés sont sortis. Nous avons donc décidé de vider le jacuzzi et n'avons ainsi pas pu en profiter.

– Escalier d'accès à la chambre.
Attention, ce n'est pas précisé, mais les escaliers sont assez raides pour descendre à la chambre. Les personnes ayant des difficultés de mobilité auront du mal à les descendre.

– Humidité excessive.
Système de désumidification pas au top. Même avec le déshumidificateur allumé à l'étage, il y avait énormément d'humidité dans le logement. De plus, la peinture de la douche craquelle et tombe.

– L'éclairage
Petit point négatif, mais pas si dérangeant que cela : lorsque nous souhaitions plus de lumière, l'éclairage n'était pas suffisant. La peinture noire et rouge des murs assombrit considérablement les pièces. Certes, c'est l'ambiance recherchée, mais des murs avec des couleurs moins ternes, accompagnés des rubans Led déjà existant, auraient amplement suffi pour créer l'atmosphère recherché.

Nous avions réserver a Sarreguemines suite mystérieuse, une heure avant notre arrivé on nous explique que la suite avais un problème donc on nous a proposer une suite plus grande a Bitche nous avons accepté, arrivé sur place déception sur déception odeur des l arriver au niveau de l' accès a l entré (égout ou poubelle) , plomb qui saute dès que nous branchons le sèche serviette, obliger de débrancher le sauna pour être sûr de ne plus avoir se souci, on nous vend du rêve, mais loin d être aussi bien que prévu, table branlante, fauteuil avec accoudoir casser, petite table cassé, pour 170euros payer on a le sentiment d avoir payer trop chère pour trop peu. Réveil on veut se faire un café cafetière qui ne fonctionne pas… Obliger de courir chercher du café en ville, pas génial pour un moment en amoureux, une seul flûte à champagne, un seul verre a vin pour un moment en amoureux pas top du tout, vendu comme logement haut standing les finitions sont médiocre, papier qui se décolle cadre pas droit, aucun détecteur de fumée etc etc Confort lit vraiment pas génial non plus en vrai rien ne va… Nous qui aimons nous retrouver à l' hôtel nous regrettons notre choix car pour moin chère nous avons vécu de meilleur moment dans d autre hôtel ou appartement. Ne mérite pas du tout les 5 étoiles annoncer… Très déçu…

"Central location and good value for money

Good central location. Nice little apartment – well-furnished and equipped. Really good fridge – we didn't self-cater but it would have been a good place to do that. Plenty of nice cafes nearby – but we ate at the Michelin starred restaurant Ste Walfrid, a short walk along the river. One excellent reason for staying here.

Info about location and entrance was meant to be texted to me but still hadn't arrived when we reached apartment – I phoned the owner and she sent the key code and the wifi pass word. Once online in the apartment I discovered the information had been emailed at midday – which wasn't helpful as my phone wasn't online then. The Booking.com info needs updating. Bit of a disadvantage that the second bedroom – 2 bunks – was accessed through the main double bedroom, which would be fine for a family but not good for privacy for us 2 friends travelling together. That could be clearer on the Booking.com site as well.

Les parkings payants extérieurs ne sont pas signalés ausol ou ailleurs, et l'on se fait verbaliser alors que l'on croit que les places sont gratuites.
La ville de vrait faire des efforts pour mieu informer les touristes que les places sont payantes.
Ceci ne remet pas en caue la bonne appréciation sur le logement et le site.

Malgré les travaux dans la ville, le logement est très bien placé. Également, nous l'avons trouvé propre, moderne, confortable et conforme aux photos.

Malheureusement, le chauffe-eau a dysfonctionné durant notre séjour…. Pas de chance, mais nous n'avons pas eu d'eau chaude pour nous doucher… ce qui est fort désagréable. Les propriétaires ont tenté de nous aider à distance, mais sans succès.

The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful and let me check the wifi in the room before confirming which room I would be in. The wifi worked very well in the afternoon and evening. The room was very quiet and comfortable.

I had a very early departure and I had some difficulties with the wifi in the morning before leaving.

Rather small room, with adequate but somewhat dated fittings. The hotel itself has the same characteristics, of small, cramped, winding corridors. Needs updating and brightening.
