"Great overnight stop to explore the Christmas markets of Colmar

Fantastic and unique accommodation. Perfect location for exploring the Christmas markets of Colmar which were in walking distance. A little more expensive than we would have liked to have paid but good value in comparison to the hotel prices in Colmar.

Retro-style tiny house in a container, well equipped with all you need gor a city trip. The house is in a quiet area close to the historical city centre of Colmar (10 minutes walk). When two guests have to sleep on the sofa, they have to be tolerant about a very soft (but stylish) bed 😉 The house is ideal for two and works good for a family.

Super clean, friendly host. Close to a big super market and in walking dinstance of colmar. Free parking and wifi. Kitchen inside, overall i think 9 out of 10 points.

Great location, quiet and peaceful and very close to the historic center which is important. There was also some space nearby for a walk with the dog.

It was okay.

There were only 2 large towels and a small hand towel. The host refused to give us additional towels and told us that we had to wash them. I think that's a bit too much and they could've easily added a couple more towels for a 4-5 night stay. That shouldn't be a problem for them given the price that is being paid for the apartment.

An easy walk to the old city, this loft was a perfect little nest for our family with young kids to have a quiet night’s sleep and a little kitchen for preparing breakfast. There is a private parking spot and we didn’t use our car but walked to all the Christmas markets and did the Hopla walking tour.

"Nice and cozy

The Cocoon Loft is a pleasant place to stay for a few nights in Colmar. It is about 15 minutes walk from the city centre, in an easily accessible location with private parking.
Attic on the fourth floor, lots of stairs, if you have problems with stairs, don't choose it.
With teenage children the sofa bed was small, but would have been fine with small children. Perhaps another armchair bed or mattress would have fitted, it would have greatly increased our comfort. Because of the loft, my husband and tall teenage son could not shower standing up, but this was tolerable on one or two occasions. What was also annoying, but not critical, is that there are three tiny attic windows, so it is dark during the day. There are not many lights and they are not very bright, so we found the place a bit dark at night.
Apart from the above small things, the place is well equipped. Everything was very clean. There was a large selection of cold drinks in the fridge at shop prices, which we didn't take advantage of, but this kind thoughtfulness is characteristic of the place.

Another berth would have been very nice for our family of four. All the other things are small nuisances, which for a couple of nights is not bothersome.

Nice quiet place in a resitential zone not far from the city centre. Lovely host with big heart will make your stay pleasant.

Alessio and his girlfriend was very nice and welcoming! Even though we could not communicate (we do not speak French) we still figured it out at last The owners also have a VERY sweet and energetic dog, and we love dogs! we also brought our own dog, and they had a lot og fun. The location was quiet good, and all in all a good experience.

We did not know if we could use the kitchen or not, so we only chose to used the fridge. and no english language was a bit hard, but we manage! 🙂 nothing negative besides that

The room and and the house was great, clean and relaxing. It is around 15min a walk from the station and that was not comfortable for me.
Even though the owner doesn't speak English but we found a way to communicate. She is a friendly and kind person. She waited me till I arrived as the bus was late in the evening.
Overall, I will recommend it.

Walking distance from the station to this place, especially is you have a quite heavy bag.
