The hosts are warm and friendly. The house is in a wonderful location very near the Maison de Claude Monet. It is new and very clean.

It was a delight from the moment we arrived. Am so pleased we stayed here and can’t wait to stay again. The hosts were wonderful and we even had homemade jam made by them and fruit from their garden. Charming hosts. They thought of everything and exceeded expectation. Luxury bathroom / stand alone shower. Big bed and in the middle of Giverny. Wow. A truly special place.

Our hostess was lovely and clearly sensible, had Covid precautions and security covered and had thought about our potential desire to have milk for tea and coffee, cold beer as it was so hot etc., map of Giverny, suggestions of where to go for breakfast. It was a lovely offer to let us use the garden to sit out on a hot evening and to have breakfast. It was beautifully designed and immaculate, a wonderful use of a small space. The reason for booking had been that it was so close to Monet's house and garden and we could leave the car somewhere safe nearby and walk (it is less than a 10 minutes stroll and easy to find).

This isn't a negative at all but a note for others thinking of staying would be that there is a steep flight of steps into the loft style accommodation. It wasn't a problem for us but if someone had mobility issues it could be a consideration.

Giverny is beautiful and Veronique’s place is perfectly located to explore the local area. We enjoyed visiting Monet’s house and garden nearby and the local Baudy restaurant for dinner, only wish we had stayed longer than 1 night!
The apartment was wonderful had everything we needed and more! very clean with a very comfortable sofa bed and extremely well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Veronique was also so kind and welcoming, even letting us store our bikes in a small outbuilding. I also left a scarf and she has kindly offered to send it back to me. Couldn’t recommend more!!

"Perfectly tranquil location to experience the magic of Giverny

The “Little Eagle’s Nest is the perfect spot for a sole traveler, a couple, or two very close friends, who wish to stay within easy walking distance to Monet’s Gardens and other attractions in Giverny. It is very clean and very well equipped. Veronique, the host made our stay extra special by welcoming us, helping us with booking of the taxi back to Vernon and, sharing her beautiful garden with us.

There is absolutely nothing that we didn’t like about the property and the host. We felt refreshed after our stay.

Veronique was an amazing host, she lives in the same building so check in and out were super convenient. She gave great recommendations on Giverny. Location was great, perfect if you want to visit Monet’s house and gardens. The flat was a bit cosy but very well organised and well-appointed.

Idyllic, clean, tidy, beautifully decorated, comfortable, heavenly beds, lovely shower, caring and attentive helpful owner/hostess. Had to leave early and she kindly prepared breakfast early even though I said not to worry. Would love to come back.

Picture sleeping in an exquisite French country manor house 150m from Monet’s garden. I felt I’d arrived at the gardens when I moved into this gem. My host was so kind and when trains back to Paris were cancelled, I left a day early and she refunded me which was very kind but unnecessary.

Transport to villages in France is unreliable. Hire a car rather. Nothing to do with host. Giverny is a small village. No Uber 😅

Le Dime fits the vibe of Giverny being the home of Monet and all visitors stay in this town for this purpose so its really the perfect place for Giverny. lays on the main street that has all the attractions and its so peacfull and luxuriouse.. with a great host

"Relaxing stay

A beautiful revamped barn into a lovely bed and breakfast. The whole area is very nicely groomed and interiors are lovely.

It comes with a nice bed, seperate room and toilet and a view of the garden.

It is a short walk to all nearby attractions, lovely to stroll around the giverny town.
