"Très bien pour ce qu'il y a

L'hotel n'est pas génial, ça mériterait un grand coup de propre et de neuf. Cependant le personnel est très agréable et se décarcasse pour compenser. Pour info, la plupart des sites proposant cet hotel (agoda compris) propose des chambres pour 4 personnes ce qui n'existe pas notre fils ainé a passé la nuit sur un matelas par terre.

J'ai passé une semaine à Ibis, c'est un hôtel que je recommande malgré le manque d'équipement dans la chambre ( sèche cheveux, bouilloire…) mais tout le reste est génial.

Gorgeous renovated character property, with tasteful decor and very clean, comfortable room. Lovely breakfast served outside. Welcoming and helpful hosts. A quiet oasis in a beautiful part of the French countryside, within easy driving distance of lits of interesting places.

Bed was a little hard for my liking, but that is a personal choice.

We were really well welcomed at the property. Surrounded by nature, cute goats and chickens, as we arrived late the couple that runs the place prepared a great meal for us 🙂 Really comfortable bedroom with everything you need besides a lovely atmosphere. If you have the chance, GO!

Beautiful B&B with friendly hosts who were always on hand to help. Sympathetically restored spacious family room with comfy bed and luxurious shower. The swimming pool was a hit with kids after a long drive, we couldn't have asked for more!

"Wonderful homestay with good breakfast and charming host

I liked the location in a residential neighborhood, not in the narrow city streets. Parking off street for free was great. Wonderful host, very charismatic, enthusiastic and upbeat. Freshly baked croissants, juice, bread, jam and butter, with coffee or tea for breakfast was nice. We really appreciated the refrigerator in our room for cheeses or other things we might buy on our trips for snacking or picnics. The bed was very comfortable and I liked the separate top sheet and blanket instead of the usual duvet covered comforter that can be too hot for sleeping.

Surprised that access to our private room and bath was through the home's kitchen, although it was not a problem, we were not going in and out multiple times during our stay

Angouleme Station 5min walk,
City center and restaurants within 10min walk, helpful staff, hotel clean, good breakfast and coffee, access organised for late arrivals.

On a Sunday, many restaurants and shops are closed in Angouleme. A possibility should be given to guests on that evening to have a simple meal .

It had an elevator.

Being dog friendly, there is nowhere nearby for the dogs to go to the toilet.

"A reasonable overnight stop but not for much longer.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was reasonable. It's a hotel outside of the main tourist area of Angoulême but close enough to walk. It made a good overnight stay – which was the reason I chose it.

The reception closes during the day – not what I expected so had to wait 1/2 hour or so to check in.
