Suited my needs but not somewhere to stay for more than a night or two. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good but rooms are very basic.

The room didn't have tea or coffee facilities in the bedroom, the was not any air conditioning or fans to support the room, dead flies on carpet, bathroom didn't have internal fan, tiles had been painted and was peeling, silicone seals dirty and accumulated dirt, toilet seat not secure..
Given worn towels to use, which looked like a floor rag.

Good communication with owners. Possibility to get into the hotel at a convenient time for us. Very clean. Good breakfast. Close to everything, very central.

Difficulty to get into the property with a wheelchair because of the two big steps from street level but we managed with the help of lovely, helpful passers-by every single time we had to get in. The Audomarois are very friendly!

"A very good stay in a pleasant, well situated hotel.

The room was good. We had a twin room and it was very good and the beds were in separate parts of the room. We ate an evening meal at the hotel's restaurant and it was very good. Altogether a good stay.

There is not much that I didn't like. Everything was satisfactory.

Was on a long distance cycle trip and this place was perfect for a stopover. Central location with lots of dinner options even arriving late. Still able to check in fairly late. Nice shower and comfortable room. Very accommodating with my bike. Friendly welcome and filling breakfast.

"Great locations and lovely staff

The room was spotlessly clean and parking was just on the roundabout over the road (we were on a motorbike). The breakfast was okay and the location was perfect. The lady on reception offered to speak English which was a relief as my school girl French wasn’t doing the business and I know that most French staff in hotels get quite angry if you launch straight into English or a ‘parle boys Anglais’.

The room was tiny but it’s an old building and it didn’t really matter.

We stayed on a Saturday. There is so much noise in the street that we could barely sleep even using earplugs! I have rarely experienced such a noise in 30 years travelling.
There were people next to the hotel drinking a shouting until 1 or 2am, music coming from another venue + traffic.
Since there is no air conditioning/ventilation the only way to have air is to open the window which is right next to a bar's terrace.

The room stank of damp when we arrived as there does not seem to be any ventilation.
Once the restaurant opens, the smell of cooked meat filles the whole floor (not inside the room luckily).

Some electric plugs need repair and are almost coming out of the wall.

The hotel is in a fantastic location in the town, within a couple of minutes of lots of lovely bars and restaurants. There’s also easy, free parking just outside in the square and of course it’s only 30 mins to Calais. The gentleman on reception was very friendly and check in etc was quick and easy. No extra charge for the dog either! We didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on the food but it’s always handy to have an in-house restaurant. Room was comfortable and basic as you might expect from a 2 star hotel – cheap and cheerful. This is a good quick stop-over hotel

This is a 2 star hotel so although comfortable and fine for a one night stop over, I might like a bit more atmosphere and more updated decor if I was staying longer. Can’t fault it on the price and location though.

"Very pleasant hotel and would certainly stay there again.

Lovely family run hotel in the centre of St Omer. Very comfortable large bed although this did make moving around the room a little tight. Excellent restaurant with great menu. Breakfast was also good value. The best bit was being able to have our dog with us. Street parking was not a problem.

Perhaps tea and coffee facilities in the room would be nice.

Family room was lovely, comfy big bed and sofa bed and great shower. Lots of space and very clean. Ate in the restaurant, great value for money and very nice food. Staff were very friendly, we have a 6 month old baby and had our dog with us and they were very accommodating. Parking is extra but very secure and no need to book it. Will definitely stay again on our way through France.
