"As above, great location for an overnight stop, very clean, friendly and comfortable!

Superb location around 50 minutes from Calais so perfect for an overnight stop as we arrived fairly late into France; lovely old building very nicely decorated and furnished.

Very friendly welcome when we arrived and they had provided cheese and bread in our room, which were very quickly accompanied by a couple of glasses of wine, very efficient and very welcome having arrived late and without having eaten on the way…

Excellent breakfast (also served in the room, which had a comfortable sofa and occasional tables) of scrambled egg, croissants and pastries, bread, fruit and yoghurt and of course coffee!

We arrived too late to try dinner in the restaurant but I am sure we will be back for that at some point in the future…

Belle maison bourgeoise rénovée avec goût. Chambre très spacieuse et comfortable avec un personnel souriant et attentif. Une très belle adresse. Hâte de découvrir la table qui s’annonce très prometteuse. Ça mérite le détour et ce n’est finalement pas loin de Lille.

Nous sommes venus à l’occasion du festival Bethune rétro, la place de la république fait partie des nombreuses places de la ville où il y avait exposants, concerts etc.
Malgré cela nous n’avons rien entendu, la chambre est très calme.
Le personnel est au petit soin, le lit est très confortable.
Nous avons bien aimé notre séjour.

Un seul petit reproche, la baignoire n’est pas très large pour 1 grand gabarit.

‘Continental’ breakfast was not supplied. Instead there was pain grille (dried bread) and madeleines. No juice, nothing fresh.

Loved the privacy of the apartments once we was inside.

One of the rooms (the one with the hole in the wall) had ornaments on the floor (from the wall) a broken hairdryer and the bathroom door lock got stuck.

clean, comfortable, convenient parking, easy access to the town centre

warm (we were there during the worst heatwave ever, with 38 degrees at 20:30) and a bit noisy in the morning (as we had all the windows open) – the fan helped a lot!

The room itself was very nice. A good shower. Private parking was excellent.

Bathroom could have been a little cleaner. "Express breakfast' was a little lacking. Location was difficult to find and a little more remote than expected.

Les Bethunoises is a fabulous place to stay and we have done on many occasions – en route somewhere else and exploring the local area. Always friendly and helpful staff with interesting rooms, and a good shower!

The room we had this time was themed on a local football team – very bachelor pad with some ridiculous lighting.

We arrived at 17.00, on a cold day at the beginning of March. the room was cold, the heating not on. We turned the valve, it still didn’t work. We texted reception at 17.45, we were told to wait as it took 30 mins to warm up, we pointed out we had already waited, however no one came until about 18.30. We were told there had been a problem with the heating, they were working on it. She fiddled with it, saying it was difficult to get work done because of Covid, and left to get help. She returned and fiddled more. We pointed out that this should have been done before our arrival. Eventually, after 19.30, it started to work. The heated towel rail had similar problems. All we were offered was a breakfast, which was not required. The room was not fit for purpose, and we should receive a refund.

Exceeded expectations! Everywhere was immaculate. Check in was very easy and the lady was friendly and polite.
Gated private parking was brilliant. Kitchen in room was fabulous with everything you could need. Absolutely loved the room, there was everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Will definitely be back again.

We have stayed here previously but were directed to another Apartment with proper parking outside the room.
Our room was quite large with walk-in shower and we bought breakfast from a local bakers and ate breakfast on the small terrace outside our room.

Basic facilities and decor, but for a roadside stopover, it was perfect. No lift (that we could find) so bringing suitcases in was a challenge on the top floor.

Friendly and helpful receptionist; pleasant and clean room and bathroom. It was quiet, no traffic, window view of lovely tall trees. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

A lift would be good if one has a lot of luggage. It's a shame the hotel has no restaurant.

Clean, tidy rooms and very clean bathroom. TV reception and WiFi both good. We have used this Hotel Tour a number of times now, mainly due to its convenient distance form Calais and Dunkirk (a little over an hour.) It is conveniently situated on the outskirts of Bethune and appeared to us quiet at night. Coffee making facilities and microwave exist in the main lobby. We have stayed there when we could find no restaurants open, so we have shopped at the local supermarket and eaten in our room. High summer may provide places to eat and drink – worth looking into before you book. Ample free parking off road at front of Hotel. An ideal one-night stopover for those driving to or from France.

For those booking for the first time, this is an automated hotel with key obtained from a machine by the front entrance – we found this a little confusing on our first stay there as we had booked last minute and was expecting a full-time receptionist. However there are receptionists at certain times during most days, but perhaps best to check online beforehand if you require local knowledge and guidance.

The weather! We arrived in bright sun and went into town in a torrential downpour of rain. Couldn't really appreciate Bethune which had closed up in anticipation of the deluge!

Clean, large room for 2 adults and 4 children, comfortable mattress. Blinds make the room very dark which is great for the children. Toys in the room which our children enjoyed. Breakfast good, with lots of selection.

No lift, Struggled to communicate with our limited French.
