I had a meeting in Lorient in the evening . I had travelled a lot , so wanted to stay near the station so that I could catch a early train to Paris City centre . This is located perfectly . The Hotel in itself was very comfortable .

"Bon accueil et chambre nickel
Le personnel est très accueillant dans ce petit hôtel où tout est propre. La literie est confortable et, il est vrai, la salle de bain étriquée, mais nous ne sommes pas dans un 4 étoiles , il ne faut pas l’oublier. Très bon rapport qualité / prix. Très bon emplacement aussi.

Check in was smooth enough and location was okay..Lorient is a nice place with plenty going on,and good shopping.
Owner definitely likes the sound of his own voice. The room was a little musty when we first opened the door. My wife asked if there was any drop of milk in the room to have a cup of tea first thing in the morning, perhaps one of those little UHT pods..to which the owner scoffed and told us this was France and the did not have such things only "real milk". In any event, France or not we still couldn't make a cup of tea in the room as there was no milk. Not impressed.

Host Jean-Louis was very welcoming and attentive. It was a last minute booking and he went out of his way to make us very welcome. Gave good advice on a late afternoon city centre walk and recommended probably the only brasserie that was open on a Sunday evening, which was very good
