"Good for one night in Dole

Simple, clean rooms and comfortable beds.

"Inexpensive hotel

I had a hell to find this hotel and was circling around 1 hour in the night. It's located in an industrial area. However when you finally reach the hotel it's in a very nice Garden setting, Simple but clean and the staff friendly (however understaffed). The food (dinner) was really bad, unusually bad for France. Ravioli with Pesto. Do not order this dish! Breakfast was average but as the person had to take care as well the people who checked out. coffecups could be given out first when she finished her client in the reception. Than some fruit sallad finished, same story her. I would say the hotel is okay for the price. But next time I pay a little more and go to a better one..

We were happy to find this Campanile Hotel on Agoda to make booking easy. The hotel was nice, a standard with this group. Easy to find, with free parking. Also in room WIFI free which worked well with our two computers. Beds were comfortable, bath room convenient, large enough to move about a bit.

Je suis venu pour une nuit de passage, histoire de me reposer pour reprendre la route le lendemain. La chambre était très propre, le personnel très aimable. Nous avons juste eu peu de chance quand un bus d'étrangers est arrivé, ils ont été très irrespectueux et bruyant jusqu'à tard le soir, et très tôt le matin… Sinon, je suppose que l'hôtel doit être calme, il a un très bon emplacement, proche des commerces. Petit-déjeuner peut-être un peu cher à mon goût.

Literie décevante car très dure –

A trois reprises, nous avons retrouvé la porte de notre chambre ouverte le soir en rentrant à l'hôtel.

Le porte gel douche de la salle de bain est resté à moitié cassé dans un coin pendant les 8 jours de notre présence.

Très bien dans l'ensemble cependant un bémol pour le repas qui n'était pas vraiment extraordinaire voire insipide concernant le poisson par ailleurs il faudrait indiquer quel café vous utilisez : arabica pur , robusta ou mélange , ce serait bien aussi de proposer des fruits bio , surtout les pommes

le deuxième nuit, on rentre tard, et notre carte ne marche pas…démagnétisée… réception fermée, on a passé la nuit dehors!!! obligés d'aller au formule un!!!!
le personnel désolé nous a finalement remboursé la nuit et donné son numéro personnel pour les nuits suivantes…. adorables….

Veel hotels gezien , ook andere Campanille, maar deze was slecht. Lawaaierig, bloedspatten aan de deurpost en in de douche. Zeer gehorig.

Everything else: even the ablility to wash clothes is nice to have. The shower is great and theres just a lot in the appartment: tv, fridge, storage space, etc.

The kettle was not very clean so we didnt use it. Luckily we had a coffee machine! Besides that there were quite a lot of spiders on the ceilings, maybe they could be cleaned out before guests arrive. We didnt have any problems though.

very unusual. clean, quiet and comfortable. easy to find on a main road into Dole.
Very good communication with the owner and we were able to check in ahead of the official time as the apartment was ready for us.

Not a “didn’t like “ just for others info: it’s on the outskirts of Dole so a 15 minute drive to the old town, too far to walk.
The access to the apartment and to the sleeping area are via steep stairs so you need to be able bodied to manage them, so to be mindful of this if like us you book here to stay on the return from a ski trip, wouldn’t want to tackle the stairs with a knee in a brace!

Not a dislike but the stair way to the bedroom is a reflection of a grinding mill staircase (as that's what the tower used to be – you have to be very able to climb a albeit very large ladder style up to the bed

"Lovely host, however the location is not ideal and the steps are very steep.

Thierry the host was an absolute joy. Our greeting was seamless and smooth. The apartment was well stocked with all the necessary utilities for a prolonged stay even though we were only there one night.

The narrow winding steps from the front door make it extremely difficult to carry heavy suitcases up them to the apartment. The steps / ladder leading from the living room to the bedroom are EXTREMELY steep and dangerous. There are no soaps or or body wash liquids in the shower.

Cuisine et SdB bien équipées. 2 téléviseurs, l‘un dans la pièce principale l’autre dans la mezzanine (très utile car le Futon qui sert de canapé n‘est absolument pas confortable)

Absence totale d‘accueil. Le logement fait partie d‘un grand nombre d‘autres logements loués à l’année. Nuisances sonores la nuit où ces voisins réparent leurs véhicules vers 2h du matin et font tourner les moteurs à plein régime.
L’escalier qui monte vers la mezzanine avec des marches très écartées n’est pas suffisamment sécurisé (une barre de rideau en bois fait office de rampe). Distance importante du gîte par rapport au centre ville.

Nous avons attendu plus de 20 mins en bordure d’une nationale passante que le propriétaire ouvre le portail.
Après de nombreux appels sur un portable qui ne décrochait pas, nous avons fini par obtenir un autre numéro de portable appartenant au jeune fils du propriétaire et qui nous a gentiment accueilli.
Nous avons quitté la tour le lendemain matin sans jamais avoir rencontré le propriétaire ( qui ne s’est même pas excusé de ne pas répondre au téléphone alors que nous étions attendus)
Petit bémol aussi pour les draps qui ne sont pas repassés

Le cadre de la tour de Lacuzon est magnifique, le séjour est pour le moins insolite de loger dans une tour magnifiquement aménagée avec tout le confort nécessaire pour un agréable séjour et une découverte de Dole et ses environ.

We loved this place. the location could not be better we had a view to the main square of the city and nonetheless the apartment was super quiet when we closed the windows. We chose the room with the Cow theme and it was so cool!! we could see the amount of detail the hosts put into decorating the room, we absolutely loved it. The room is small but is super comfortable, modern and it has everything one needs, they really thought of everything. I cannot think of a better place to stay in Dole

That night was super hot and we did have a fan but I think if summers will continue to be like that AC could help a lot

Location is right in the centre with lots of parking close by. The decoration is outstanding and fascinating, large windows opening over the fountains in the square almost like a balcony. Very comfortable bed.

Unfortunately the entrance doesn’t look attractive and there was no lock on the street door, but this may have just been broken, but when you get to the private quarter’s everything is secure and immaculate.

What a fabulous room! We stayed in the Gatsby studio. The work that has been put into every single aspect of this room is exceptional down to the last detail.

There was nothing to dislike other than the towels were quite thin and hard from over use. But that is such a small thing. I would not hesitate in recommending this property to anyone considering booking this place.

This property is top notch. The location is great – the very center of the city. The arrival was easy, the instructions were detailed and correct. The property is well designed and maintained, very clean, and the amenities are top notch. It has a fully equiped kitchen and a washing machine – we were very thankful for that, being on a cycling tour!

A 10, because it is a studio in the perfect centre of Dole. Room is a fair size, comfy bed and modern shower. Kitchen has enough to cook if needed. We cycled and bikes safe indoors in entrance hall. Excellent pub downstairs, and clearly a meeting place for the tourists and trendy set, but not noisy.

No problems at all. Check in was easy, room has great view over the square. Fan kept the heat down.

Stylishly decorated, everything new and clean, every detail thought of (tea towels, extra blankets, netflix, coffee, soap, even toothbrushes) to make you comfortable. Quick replies to questions. Possibility to check in any time using key box.

The sofa bed and pillows were very hard, but we were very happy overall to have 2 beds at this price.

great decor. our room was furnished with 50’s American “diner style. sounds potentially horrible but it wasn’t it was really well done. they also managed to fit just about every mod con into one room. kitchen, bathroom, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, mini juke box, barbers light… yes seriously. it was great fun.
also the parking was actual very easy. ignore the car park outside the property as it’s short stay. 100 yards away next to the park is free parking.

A lovely apartment close to the historic centre of Dole. The apartment was very comfortable and very homely with pot plants and amusing wall art. Dole was a revelation to me. I'm ashamed to say I had never heard of it before my visit but it is an absolute gem.

The owners texted me about how to get to the room . It was very nice to be welcomed with a snack and water . They had a binder on the table for places to eat and see. A map of the city . It was right in town and it’s was a cool town to visit . They give a great description of the place!

Nothing . It was great. I was there for one night so I can’t complain.

Spacious, well equipped, contemporary style, newly renovated. Lovely details such as Nespresso coffee maker, washing machine and all you would need for cooking your own meal (which we didn’t).

Check-in was contactless but the indications on how to get into the apartment were precise and on time. Same as for check-out.

Next time we come to Dole I will certainly consider booking again! I definitely recommend!

great location! the host had great communication, before and during our stay. the room had everything you could need. everything was in working order and there aren’t crazy house rules like some other properties we have stayed at. the attentiveness and convenience of a stay at a hotel without the extra cost of paying for services you don’t use.

Easy to find, easy checkin, excellent communication with host. The apartment is the most charming we've seen on our trip. Small but well designed to provide comfort in the space. Lots of hooks to hang things, good wifi, good lighting. Tourist information and directions for operation of appliances provided. The location is excellent for visiting Dole. Everything is just steps away: tourist information, groceries, restaurants, the perched cat trail…

The only negative could be the parking situation. Especially in season. We were lucky when we arrived about 16:00. We turned too soon at the roundabout onto avenue du general eisenhower and found a spot in the large parking lot (gratuit) Parking Saint Mauris. The apartment is just a short walk so we stayed there. There were no available spots on the street of the apartment at that time.

The apartment is located in the back side of historic building just in the center of Dole. Lots of shop around but quiet as the windows are facing the courtyard of the building, not the street. The owner made a good decoration of the apartment.

Lots of messages received explaining auto check-in details would be sent the night before, and local info. However nothing was received and i had to remind them on the arrival date. The mattress is so soft that we could feel the frame underneath 🙁

L'aménagement de l'appartement, joliment décoré avec beaucoup de goût, et sa situation géographique.
L'appartement est très calme.

– on peut mieux faire pour la propreté de l'appartement (poils/cheveux dans la salle de bain)

Nous avons aimé cet appartement très atypique et joliment décoré avec beaucoup de goût, et sa situation en plein centre ville.

Le ménage n avait pas été fait dans la cuisine depuis bien longtemps, nous avons été obligés de nettoyer le four qui était immonde et toutes les surfaces des meubles de cuisine! La cafetière est entartrée, il manque beaucoup de vaisselle (seulement 2 verres et 2 fourchettes, heureusement nous n étions que 2.)
Il n y avait pas d'oreillers et une des ampoules des appliques de la chambre était grillée.
La sac poubelle de la salle de bain n était pas changé.
Salle de bain qui d ailleurs était impeccable au contraire de la cuisine.
Peut-être faudrait-il rappeler à la femme de ménage qu une cuisine se doit d être impeccable d autant plus que nous payons 49€ pour ce service.
Les carreaux demanderaient également a être fait d autant plus que c est un appartement sombre.
Malgré cela nous recommanderions cet appartement et nous trouvons dommage que la note baisse pour tout ces détail car sinon ce serait parfait.
Nous avons sinon passé une semaine très agréable.

Logement pratique et bien équipé. Appartement en ville mais au calme. Nous avons apprécié que les chiens soient acceptés.

Le ménage partiel avec des morceaux de verres et pâtes séchées au sol que notre chien s’est empressé de manger. Prestation à améliorer de ce côté là.
