“Great spot!”

The hotel is located right in town, walking distance from everything. The breakfast was excellent, as was the staff service.
We had a room in the attic, and as advertised there were low ceiling beams – not for the very tall! It didn’t bother us too much though. We had a great time, would recommend as a base to explore champagne region.

Our stay was very pleasant. The staff was extremely helpful, the room was quiet and there was a partial view to the park. We also visited the champagne bar 😉
Breakfast was served in the aula, and contained a variety of French goodies served in nice baskets (cheese, ham, bread and croissants) as well as yogurt, fresh pressed juiced, fruit and coffee. Omelets or eggs were prepared as wished.
The location is good, just next to the Avenue des Champagne.

Cozy and clean apartment. More comfortable then a hotel room. Nice decoration, great shower and kitchen with everything in it. Bed was a littlebit short (we are very tall) but we had a great stay and would go again.

“A nice enough place at a reasonable price.”

The Loft Inn in Epernay is a newly remodeled, clean apartment in a convenient neighborhood near the city center with a supermarché and boulangerie nearby. It has a kitchen with a ceramic cook top, a coffeemaker and a small fridge, but no dishwasher. The bathroom has a nice wand shower (the rain fixture is present but not hooked up), and a small sink and vanity. The bedding is okay.

There are no closets and only one wall mounted hat/coat rack with four hooks. If you are lucky enough to have brought your own hangers, you may hang some clothes on the top of the stairs bannister. It is a true loft, at the top of a four story building with low ceilings around the edges, that is reached via three curving flights of stairs (two old and dingy and one better maintained). When we were there, the lights for the first flight of stairs did not work, so we had to use phone flashlights at night. The stairs are no problem for those traveling light, but a problem for seniors with larger suitcases.
I would not recommend this apartment for smaller children because the final stairway is inside the apartment and opens directly into the living area.

cleanliness entrance not ok, no fresh towels and soap for a stay of 4 days. free parking promised on booking.com which was not the case. cleaning utensils in the kitchen already used, not very hygienic (certainly in covid era).

The location

The apartment is at the top of 3 flights of narrow stairs (no lift). It’s a good workout to lug suitcases up and down. The bed is very small but surprisingly comfortable. The state of decoration of the apartment is dated and in need of a refurb. Overall it was fine, just a bit underwhelming for the price.

if you were over 5 ‘ 6” you’d hit your head on the low ceilings at the kitchen and bedroom

This was the nicest place we stayed during our trip to Europe. The apartment included a living/kitchen area, separate bedroom and separate bathroom. All were recently updated and very comfortable!

Nice big one bedroom apartment nicely redone and beautifully decorated. It’s walking distance from anything in Epernay.

Great location near to shops and restaurants including the famous Avenue de Champagne. Recently renovated with new furniture and comfortable bed.

Although the apartment seems to be recently renovated, it lacked places to hang and unpack clothing and belongings. Oddly, there was no coffee table, bedroom drawers or armoire, bathroom shelves, or surface to place anything upon. Towels were slung over the shower door to dry. We had to use a windowsill to place some toiletries and while changing clothes had to go on the floor.
The description states a KING size bed, however, it is a QUEEN which is 160×200. I feel this should be updated as it is misleading.
Also, you must be aware that it is two flights up a winding steepish staircase. Can be a challenge with luggage. The ad only mentions stairs and not the second level which in Europe equates to the third floor.

if I was being picky I’d say a better glass collection: there was only one champagne flute in the apartment (other glasses were available)!

Location is excellent!

It was pretty cold when we arrived, and we had some difficulty getting the heat to switch on. Our host was attentive to the problem, but we eventually got it going. It would have been nice to have it already on when we arrived.

The place was well-decorated and the little balcony is a nice plus. The apartment’s location was really good.

The apartment was located on the second floor through a narrow and badly lit staircase – it is very difficult to access with large luggage and a baby. The apartment has been recently renovated but shows some signs of usage and the floor boards and doors squeak a lot – the doors are also thin, which doesn’t provide much safety and privacy (the bathroon door also let light in, so we awoke quite early).
We only stayed one night, so it was ok, but there aren’t many storage options (hangers and cupboards) so the luggage just layed about the place.

Very poor and downscale entrance into building , kind of low class and spooky. 2 floor up with narrow stairs, horrible with suitcase. Shifty, non transparent pricing shown on booking site with a 29$ charge for room cleaning hidden like a local charge. Price of room charged several weeks prior to arrival. No breakfast available
